google_ad_channel and google_ad_slot
A brief engraved on two variables google_ad_channel and google_ad_slot Adsense javascript code.
The first variable google_ad_channel, is present in the code script "old type" of Adsense, that could generate before Google introduced the Classifieds section manager. This variable, if exploited, include the ID in the channel associated to the ad. The code "old" is still recognized by adsense crawler and therefore unusable.
The second variable, google_ad_slot, is present in the code script "new type" of Adsense (introduced by the Management Classifieds). This variable is always enhanced with a unique identifier to the specific Adsense account, and can be regarded only as a pointer to the information (color, size, channel, etc..) Associated to the ad you create.
If for any reason, such as purchase of a website, you find yourself in a position to change the script "new type" of Adsense with data from a different Adsense account, remember that not just change the value of the variable google_ad_client (as happened ads with old type) is google_ad_slot to seek specific information from the old Adsense account. Consequently, it is necessary to recreate the ad with the new account and generate the code. Trite but necessary!
